Virat Kohli passes 15,000 ODI runs with unbeaten 139 against West Indies

Virat Kohli reached 15,000 ODI runs with an unbeaten 139 off 88 balls as India chased down 296 to beat West Indies by eight wickets at Thiruvananthapuram. He became only the second batter after Sachin Tendulkar to get there, and he did it with nine sixes — his most in any ODI innings.

Captain Shubman Gill also scored a century, 110 off 108, and India finished the chase with 50 balls left. West Indies had posted 295 for seven, Justin Greaves making a maiden ODI hundred. Kuldeep Yadav took four for 40 to keep them from pushing further after they reached 198 for five in the 36th over.
