Rajkumar Sharma backs Kohli for 2027 World Cup

Rajkumar Sharma, Virat Kohli's childhood coach, said Kohli's place in the 2027 ODI World Cup squad should not be a discussion. Sharma highlighted Kohli's exceptional form and long-standing consistency.

Kohli met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde in London on September 11. They discussed sports, infrastructure and various government schemes initiated by the state government.

The ODI World Cup begins in October 2027. India will play a packed ODI calendar before that tournament, with workload management expected to influence selection decisions.
