VVS Laxman to coach India men at Asian Games in September

VVS Laxman will take charge of India's men's cricket team at the Asian Games 2026 in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. The event runs from 19 September to 4 October, with cricket scheduled between 24 September and 3 October.

Laxman serves as Director of Cricket at the BCCI's Centre of Excellence. He previously coached India at the 2023 Asian Games.

Gautam Gambhir remains unavailable because the senior team's three-match ODI series overlaps with the multi-sport event.
