Waqar Younis says Jasprit Bumrah still has way to go before becoming Test great

Former Pakistan captain Waqar Younis said Jasprit Bumrah still has some way to go before becoming a Test great. Bumrah has taken 234 wickets in 52 Tests for India. Waqar made the assessment during a recent interview.

Bumrah's Test career has included several five-wicket hauls and consistent performances across conditions. The fast bowler has been instrumental in India's overseas victories in recent years. His ability to bowl long spells with the new ball and reverse swing has marked him as one of the premier seamers in world cricket.

India's next Test series will provide Bumrah with further opportunities to add to his wicket tally. The team management has managed his workload carefully across formats to maintain his effectiveness in the longest format.
