Washington Sundar declared fit for Afghanistan T20Is

Washington Sundar has been cleared to play in India's three-match T20I series against Afghanistan after recovering from a hamstring injury. The all-rounder had been included in the squad subject to fitness.

Sundar missed India's recent Test series in Sri Lanka after picking up the injury during the second ODI against England in Cardiff in July. He passed fitness tests and match simulations at the BCCI Centre of Excellence.

Jasprit Bumrah is yet to receive final clearance for the series starting September 13 in Delhi.
