WBBL clubs begin roster moves after embargo lifts

Melbourne Renegades have re-signed Elyse Matthews while Sophie Dunkley returns to the Melbourne Stars after the WBBL contract embargo was lifted. Both sides are completing overseas and domestic signings ahead of WBBL|12.

The moves signal early intent from clubs looking to lock in core players before the domestic and international windows overlap. Further announcements are expected in the coming weeks.

The league traditionally sees a spike in activity once the embargo ends.
