West Indies expose India's pace-bowling gaps ahead of New Zealand tour

West Indies held India to a 2-2 T20I series result after the fifth match in Bengaluru was washed out. The visitors won two matches and forced a draw in the decider despite entering the series as underdogs.

India relied on Bhuvneshwar Kumar's return after four years and the all-round skills of Shivam Dube and Nitish Kumar Reddy to balance the side. Both all-rounders struggled for consistency with the ball, conceding 39 runs in three overs combined across the series.

Captain Shreyas Iyer said execution with the ball remained the difference. India depart for a five-match T20I series in New Zealand next week with the same squad.
