West Indies hand Bishop Test debut; Mushfiqur ruled out with hand injury

West Indies handed left-arm spinner Jomel Warrican Bishop his Test debut for the first Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur. Mushfiqur Rahim injured his hand in training on the eve of the match and was replaced in the XI by Towhid Hridoy.

The match starts at 04:00 GMT on Wednesday. West Indies finished their T20I commitments earlier this month and have had extra preparation time before the series opener.

Captain Roston Chase wants a series win to lift West Indies in the World Test Championship standings.
