West Indies level T20I series 2-2 after Hope century and Paul five-for

Shai Hope's unbeaten 102 and Keemo Paul's five-wicket haul carried West Indies to a 24-run win, levelling the series 2-2.

West Indies beat India by 24 runs in the fourth T20I in Hyderabad on Wednesday. Shai Hope remained unbeaten on 102 off 50 balls, and Keemo Paul took five wickets for 41 runs as the visitors posted 247 for three and defended the total.

India chose to bowl first on a batting-friendly surface at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. Hope and Sherfane Rutherford added 91 runs in 43 balls for the fourth wicket, while Jewel Andrew made 30 in the Powerplay. Sanju Samson struck a 20-ball fifty in reply, but Paul removed him and Ishan Kishan in quick succession to derail the chase.

India finished at 223 all out. The series will be decided in the fifth match in Bengaluru on October 17.
