West Indies win toss and bowl first in second T20I in Ranchi
West Indies opt to bowl first in Ranchi citing dew, with India unchanged after their series-opening win in Lucknow.
West Indies captain Shai Hope won the toss and elected to bowl first in the second T20I against India at the JSCA International Stadium in Ranchi on Friday. Hope cited the dew factor as the main reason for his decision.
India fielded an unchanged XI after their eight-wicket win in the series opener in Lucknow. West Indies made two changes, bringing in Gudakesh Motie for Matthew Forde. The match begins at 7 PM IST and will be broadcast on Star Sports channels in India.
Four previous T20Is at the venue have produced a highest total of 196 for six by India against Sri Lanka in 2016. Dew is expected to make bowling conditions difficult in the second innings.
