Wisden questions why Kuldeep Yadav keeps getting dropped

Wisden has asked why India continue to leave out left-arm wrist-spinner Kuldeep Yadav despite consistent white-ball returns. The publication noted that Kuldeep has not featured in several recent T20I squads despite strong domestic and IPL numbers.

Former India batter Wasim Jaffer also criticised the selection committee for omitting both Kuldeep and Rinku Singh from the T20I side that faced Afghanistan. Jaffer said the pair's white-ball record warranted continued selection.

India's next T20I series is against Australia in November. No official explanation has been given for Kuldeep's repeated absences.
