Abhishek Nayar backs Sanju Samson to build on Hyderabad half-century
Nayar believes Samson's Hyderabad knock provides the platform for India to close the series in Bengaluru.
Abhishek Nayar said Sanju Samson will carry confidence from his 56 off 23 balls into the series-deciding fifth T20I against West Indies in Bengaluru. Nayar noted that Samson's base and head position looked sound before the dismissal.
West Indies levelled the series 2-2 after Shai Hope's unbeaten century and Keemo Paul's five-wicket haul helped them defend 247. India fell 24 runs short in Hyderabad.
Nayar said several Indian batters are in form and the task now is for them to deliver together. Bhuvneshwar Kumar has been added to the squad after Arshdeep Singh suffered a shoulder injury.
