Sanju Samson says meetings kept India switched on during rain delays
Sanju Samson credited team meetings for keeping India switched on during rain delays at the Asian Games.
Sanju Samson said constant team meetings and activities helped India remain switched on despite rain disruptions at the Asian Games. India have been in Japan for 10 days but played only a five-overs-a-side game against Japan on September 22. Their quarterfinal against Afghanistan was abandoned. The first proper training session is scheduled for October 1. Samson noted the team spent time discussing combinations and cricket in the gym. India face Sri Lanka in the semifinal on October 2. Samson said players are eager to play a full match after extended periods indoors.
