Pujara urged the team management to back Samson through his lean run and said the wicketkeeper-batter should not face pressure over his place.

Former India batter Cheteshwar Pujara said there should be no questions around Sanju Samson's place in the playing XI. Samson scored 11 in the series opener in Lucknow after earlier scores of 9, 7 and 2 at the Asian Games. Pujara said Samson has won a World Cup for India and is a quality player who deserves backing through a lean patch.
