Mumbai retain squad for Haryana Ranji Trophy match
Mumbai keep the same 15 for the Haryana match while monitoring Shardul Thakur's finger injury.
Mumbai have retained the same 15-player squad for their Ranji Trophy Elite Group D match against Haryana that begins on Monday at the Sharad Pawar Academy ground. The selection committee, chaired by Rajesh Pawar, opted for continuity after Mumbai secured consecutive bonus-point victories, the latest an innings-and-97-run win over Himachal Pradesh.
The only point of discussion was Shardul Thakur's fitness. The all-rounder is recovering from a fractured right middle finger sustained in a pre-season match. A medical update is expected in the next couple of days, though even if cleared he will be eased back gradually.
The squad is led by Siddhesh Lad and includes Angkrish Raghuvanshi, Divyaansh Saxena, Musheer Khan, Sarfaraz Khan, Suryansh Shedge, Suved Parkar, Aakash Anand, Hardik Tamore, Shams Mulani, Tanush Kotian, Atharva Ankolekar, Tushar Deshpande, Mohit Avasthi, Sylvester D'Souza and Onkar Tarmale.

By retaining a settled squad, Mumbai are signalling they value rhythm over tinkering. The real test will come if Thakur is cleared but cannot be rushed back into the attack.
