Pradipta Pramanik claimed a maiden 10-wicket match haul of 10 for 95 as Bengal beat Kerala by 287 runs in the Ranji Trophy at KCA Cricket Ground in Mangalapuram on Thursday. He took 4 for 44 in the first innings and 6 for 51 in the second. Mohammed Shami picked up five wickets across the match.

Shahbaz Ahmed scored 121 runs and took four wickets in the match. Kerala were bowled out for 120 in their second innings while chasing 408. Bengal collected 18 points from the win and stayed top of their group after three straight victories.

Delhi versus Jharkhand ended in a draw because of rain from Cyclone Arnab. Ayush Badoni remained unbeaten on 210 in Delhi's first innings of 515 for 5. Delhi took three points and Jharkhand took one point from the abandoned contest.

CricHubb Take

The 10-wicket haul marks a clear step up for a bowler whose previous first-class returns had been modest. If Pramanik can repeat the performance on flatter surfaces later in the season, Bengal's attack gains a second frontline option behind their established seamers.
