Shai Hope struck an unbeaten 102 off 50 balls as West Indies defeated India by 24 runs in the fourth T20I at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The visitors posted 247 for three after Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to field. Sherfane Rutherford remained not out on 49 off 26 balls while Shimron Hetmyer made 33 off 12.

Keemo Paul took five for 41 as India were bowled out for 223 in 19.3 overs. Sanju Samson scored 56 off 23 balls, his 100th T20I six, while Tilak Varma made 43 and Nitish Kumar Reddy 41. Mayank Yadav and Arshdeep Singh conceded 52 runs each in their four overs.

CricHubb Take

Hope's three identical unbeaten 102s leave India with the same problem each time — how to contain one set batter when the rest of the West Indies line-up keeps threatening to explode around him.
