Shai Hope's unbeaten 102 guided West Indies to their highest T20I chase and levelled the series against India.

Shai Hope remained unbeaten on 102 from 45 balls as West Indies chased down India's 249 for 6 to win by six wickets in Ranchi. The victory levelled the five-match T20I series at 1-1 and marked West Indies' highest successful run chase in the format.

Hope and Sherfane Rutherford added 120 runs for the fourth wicket after West Indies slipped to 5 for 2 inside two overs. Rutherford made 84 from 37 balls while Romario Shepherd stayed with Hope to finish the chase with nine balls remaining.

India had posted 249 for 5 with Sanju Samson making 82 and Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma adding late momentum. The teams meet again in Indore on Sunday.

CricHubb Take

Hope's innings is the clearest evidence yet that West Indies now treat 250 as a reachable target rather than a defensive ceiling, a shift that forces every Indian total into a different risk calculation.
