West Indies level T20I series with record chase of 250
Shai Hope's unbeaten 102 and Sherfane Rutherford's 84 powered West Indies to a six-wicket win and levelled the series 1-1.
West Indies chased down India's 249 for six in Ranchi on Friday to level the five-match T20I series at 1-1. Captain Shai Hope stayed unbeaten on 102 from 45 balls, Sherfane Rutherford struck 84 from 37, and they posted 252 for four with nine balls to spare — their highest successful T20I chase.
Hope and Rutherford put on 120 for the third wicket before Rutherford fell. Romario Shepherd stayed with Hope through the closing overs. Hope reached his hundred with two sixes in the 19th over, ending India's ten-match winning streak under Shreyas Iyer.
The third T20I is at Holkar Stadium in Indore on Sunday at 7pm IST on Star Sports and JioHotstar. India kept the same squad; West Indies named the side that won in Ranchi.

Hope and Rutherford's 120-run stand came on a pitch that had looked quick and true under lights, so the real test for India's bowlers will come when the series moves to Indore's bigger boundaries.
