India crushed Sri Lanka by 124 runs after bowling them out for 45 in the Asian Games semi-final.
India dismissed Sri Lanka for 45 in the Asian Games men's cricket semi-final in Nisshin, Japan, on Thursday. The defending champions won by 124 runs after posting 169 for seven and will meet Pakistan in the gold medal match on Saturday.
Jasprit Bumrah took two wickets in his opening over before Axar Patel claimed two more. Sri Lanka lost six wickets in the powerplay and finished with three run-outs. Ishan Kishan scored an unbeaten 80 from 46 balls and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi made 38 from 21 in India's innings.
Sri Lanka will face Bangladesh in the bronze medal match on Saturday. India's win guarantees them at least a silver medal in the men's competition.
