West Indies scored 405 for 7 in the second ODI against India at Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati. John Campbell, Shai Hope and Amir Jangoo each scored centuries, the first time three West Indies batters achieved the feat in the same innings against India. Campbell struck 101, Hope 104 and Jangoo 114.

Campbell and Hope added 110 for the second wicket. Hope and Jangoo added 182 for the third. India need 406 to win, 44 more than their previous highest successful chase batting second.

Justin Greaves, the centurion from the first ODI, is ruled out with injury. West Indies could bring in Jewel Andrew and Sherfane Rutherford for the second match.

CricHubb Take

Three hundreds in one innings against India is rare. The fact that it happened after West Indies lost the series opener by eight wickets shows how quickly a batting lineup can flip from brittle to record-breaking when three players find their range together.
