Shubman Gill scored an unbeaten 223 off 133 balls as India chased down 406 to beat West Indies by eight wickets in the second ODI in Guwahati on September 30. Gill reached his double century in 117 balls, the fastest in ODI history. Rohit Sharma made 101 off 75 balls in an opening stand of 255. West Indies posted 405 for seven with centuries from John Campbell, Shai Hope and Amir Jangoo. India completed the chase with 39 balls to spare and took an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Gill now has two ODI double centuries, joining Rohit as the only players with multiple scores of 200 or more.
