Sabbhineni Meghana announced her retirement from all forms of cricket on Friday. The 30-year-old Andhra batter last represented India in October 2022.

Meghana made her T20I debut in 2016 and played three ODIs and 17 T20Is, scoring 258 T20I runs at a strike rate of 102.78. She was part of India's silver-medal-winning team at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. In the WPL she played for Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, winning the title with RCB in 2024.

In her retirement post, Meghana thanked the BCCI, Andhra Cricket Association, RCB, Gujarat Giants and RSPB. She said she intends to mentor the next generation and remain connected to the sport.
