Jos Buttler ruled out of England tour of Pakistan with hamstring injury
Buttler injured his hamstring during the second ODI against Sri Lanka and will miss England's white-ball tour of Pakistan.
England will start their World Cup build-up without Jos Buttler. The former captain pulled a hamstring during his innings against Sri Lanka at Headingley last week, sat out Sunday's decider at the Kia Oval, and has now been ruled out of next month's 50-over tri-series in Pakistan.
Limited-overs coach Brendon McCullum confirmed Buttler won't be available for the tour. Jordan Cox steps in as wicketkeeper-batter after his first ODI recall in nearly two years against Sri Lanka.

Cox's recall after two years away gives England a chance to see whether he can keep wickets and bat in the middle order under pressure, rather than just filling a gap.
