Renshaw contributed 41 runs with Pat Cummins, 12 with Mitchell Starc, 100 with Nathan Lyon and 21 with Josh Hazlewood. He surpassed Kohli's previous benchmark of 171 runs set during his 235 against England at the Wankhede Stadium in 2016. Renshaw faced 397 deliveries, hitting 21 fours and one six. CricHubb Take

Renshaw's record shows that anchoring from number five remains a viable strategy even when top-order collapses occur, a reminder that middle-order resilience can still rescue innings on challenging surfaces.
