Mohammad Rizwan cleared to play for SNGPL in President's Trophy final round
Rizwan receives PCB clearance to captain SNGPL in the President's Trophy final round after an inquiry-related delay.
Pakistan wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has been cleared to resume domestic cricket. He'll captain Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited against Khan Research Laboratories when the President's Trophy Grade-I final round begins on 19 October.
SNGPL director of cricket Mohammad Hafeez confirmed the clearance came through the PCB's director of domestic cricket. Rizwan had been held back while an inquiry into alleged online betting and gambling activities continued.
He was due to lead the side after returning from England's Test series, stepping in for the absent Shan Masood. Rizwan is still waiting on his NOC for the Nepal Premier League, though sources expect the board to grant it once the President's Trophy wraps up.

The NOC delay for Nepal suggests the PCB is keeping Rizwan's international options on ice until the domestic inquiry runs its course — a quiet way of testing how much scrutiny the betting allegations can withstand before the next white-ball window.
