England ended their summer with an ODI series victory against Sri Lanka.

England defeated Sri Lanka in the third ODI at The Oval to complete their summer programme. The result capped a successful white-ball season that also included series wins in other formats.
Tom Banton scored his maiden international hundred during the campaign. England improved their ODI standing after earlier struggles in the format.
The summer also saw Warwickshire win the County Championship title.
CricHubb Take
Banton's breakthrough hundred shows England's white-ball depth is broader than the Test squad, and that depth will matter when they face stronger attacks next summer.
