Jemimah Rodrigues announced on Instagram that her right hamstring has been declared fit. She sustained the high-grade hamstring tear on August 3 while playing for Southern Brave. The BCCI oversaw her three-month rehabilitation programme.

Rodrigues is expected to rejoin the Mumbai squad for the Senior Women's T20 Elite tournament in Pune. She missed India's white-ball series against Zimbabwe due to the injury. India's multi-format tour of South Africa begins with a Test on December 9.

The South Africa tour also includes three ODIs and three T20Is. Rodrigues has not played since sustaining the injury in England. India Women defeated Zimbabwe by eight wickets in their most recent ODI match at Kotambi Stadium.
