West Indies award first senior contracts to three players
Three players receive first West Indies senior contracts as Lions sweep T20 series.
Jangoo, Forde and Mangru have received their first West Indies senior contracts. The West Indies Cricket Board released the 2026-27 contract list on Thursday.
Lions completed a 3-0 T20 series sweep against West Indies A. Rehan Ahmed starred for the Lions while James Rew and Calvin Harrison also impressed.
The contract announcements come as West Indies prepare for their upcoming international schedule. The board typically announces contracts at the start of each season to provide players with financial security and planning clarity.
