MI London finish fourth in 2026 Hundred as Gareth Batty departs
MI London end 2026 campaign with mid-table finish and coaching change.
MI London men's team finished fourth in the 2026 edition of The Hundred. Gareth Batty left the franchise to join Chennai Super Kings, while the women's team won only one of their eight matches during the tournament.
The competition will allow five overseas players per squad from 2027 onwards. Birmingham Phoenix are currently seeking a new men's head coach following the end of the season.
MI London have not yet announced replacements for Batty or their women's coaching staff.
CricHubb Take
The move to five overseas players next year will likely accelerate the trend of high-profile IPL names joining The Hundred, which could widen the gap between franchises with strong recruitment networks and those still building theirs.
