India top-order batter S. Meghana announced her retirement from all forms of cricket on Friday at the age of 30. The Andhra Pradesh player last represented India in November 2022 and featured in the Women's Premier League for Gujarat Giants and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Meghana made her T20I debut against the West Indies in 2016 and her ODI debut against New Zealand in 2022. She scored a half-century in both formats during her international career, finishing with 258 runs in 17 T20Is and 114 runs in three ODIs.

In her retirement post, Meghana said she plans to stay connected to cricket through mentoring and giving back to the sport that shaped her career.

CricHubb Take

Meghana's exit removes a reliable domestic top-order option just as several state sides look to rebuild their senior batting units.
