Nottinghamshire appoint Michael Temple as chief executive
Nottinghamshire appointed Michael Temple as chief executive after his interim stint following Richard Kenyon's exit.
Nottinghamshire confirmed Michael Temple as their permanent chief executive on October 2. Temple had been serving as interim chief executive following Richard Kenyon's departure to Lancashire. Kenyon joined Nottinghamshire in December 2025 and left after less than a year in post.
Temple brings 16 seasons of service at Trent Bridge to the role. He rejoined Nottinghamshire as commercial director in 2018 after previously working as head of commercial at Glamorgan and at London Stadium.
The appointment comes as Nottinghamshire prepare for the 2027 domestic season and host both the men's and women's Ashes series. A pavilion redevelopment at Trent Bridge will be among Temple's immediate responsibilities.
