Kris Srikkanth says India have no chance of winning the World Cup
Kris Srikkanth said India's bowling unit has no chance of winning the World Cup after West Indies chased 352 at Mullanpur.
Former India captain Kris Srikkanth criticised India's bowling after West Indies chased down 352 in the third ODI at Mullanpur. He questioned Mohammed Siraj's usage and the decision to bowl Anshul Kamboj in the final over. Srikkanth also criticised the inclusion of Gurnoor Brar and Anshul Kamboj, saying India are trying to develop random players.
Brar and Kamboj conceded 146 runs in their combined 18.1 overs and took one wicket. Srikkanth said Nitish Kumar Reddy struggled with both bat and ball, scoring nine off 16 and conceding 50 runs in 6.5 overs. He added that India only scored 350 against a weak West Indies attack despite missing Bumrah and Hardik Pandya.
Dinesh Karthik and Ajinkya Rahane also criticised both teams for a slow over rate. The match lasted nine hours. India won the series 2-1.

The criticism from Srikkanth targets selection logic rather than individual talent, which means the debate will shift to who gets dropped rather than how the attack improves.
