Albie Morkel appointed Joburg Super Kings head coach
Morkel replaces Fleming as Joburg Super Kings head coach after the former CSK coach was appointed England Test coach.
Albie Morkel takes over as head coach of Joburg Super Kings, the SA20 franchise. Stephen Fleming stepped down earlier this month after England named him their Test coach, leaving a vacancy that Morkel now fills.
Fleming had spent years with Chennai Super Kings, winning five IPL titles. Morkel, who played 58 Tests and 58 ODIs for South Africa between 2004 and 2012, moves straight from his playing days into this coaching role ahead of the new SA20 season.
