Auqib Nabi replaces injured Jasprit Bumrah for Sri Lanka Tests

Nabi becomes the first cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir to be selected in India's Test squad.

Jammu and Kashmir seamer Auqib Nabi earned his first India Test call-up after Jasprit Bumrah was ruled out of the two-match series against Sri Lanka with a knee injury. The 29-year-old took 60 wickets in the 2025-26 Ranji Trophy season to help J&K win their maiden title. He also claimed six wickets in two matches for India A during their recent tour of Sri Lanka.
