Auqib Nabi signs for Surrey ahead of New Zealand tour
J&K pacer Auqib Nabi joins Surrey for the rest of the County Championship before New Zealand duties.
Auqib Nabi has signed for Surrey to play the remaining County Championship fixtures before joining New Zealand's tour. The J&K pacer claimed 60 wickets in the last Ranji Trophy season and will depart for England on August 30.
Nabi moves to The Oval as part of his preparation for New Zealand commitments. Surrey need additional seam options for the closing rounds of the County Championship.
The contract gives the 25-year-old exposure to English conditions before the New Zealand tour begins later this year.

The move gives Nabi four weeks of red-ball cricket in seaming conditions that New Zealand will face in their own series. County Championship exposure at this level often shapes selection decisions more than domestic numbers alone.
