Georgia Voll scored an unbeaten 131 off 97 balls to lead Australia to a nine-wicket win over Bangladesh in the second ODI at Allan Border Field on Sunday. The victory gave Australia an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series.

Voll and Phoebe Litchfield added 162 runs for the opening wicket before Ellyse Perry joined Voll to complete the chase with 131 balls to spare. The pair's stand broke the previous highest partnership against Australia in women's ODIs after Sobhana Mostary and Nigar Sultana Joty combined for 195 runs earlier in the day.

Mostary scored 118 off 134 balls and Joty remained unbeaten on 74 as Bangladesh posted 220 for six. Megan Schutt took four for 36 for the hosts.

CricHubb Take

Voll's conversion to an unbeaten 131 after two prior ODI dismissals on 101 shows the value of tempo control over raw power on placid surfaces. Her partnership average with Litchfield now sits at 62.5 after ten innings, a number that will shape Australia's opening strategy heading into the 2029 World Cup cycle.
