Sophie Molineux joined UP Warriorz for Rs 1.10 crore while the franchise also secured Grace Harris for Rs 30 lakh at the WPL 2027 mini-auction in Kochi.
Sophie Molineux signed for UP Warriorz for Rs 1.10 crore at the WPL 2027 mini-auction in Kochi. Neetu David said the team made Molineux a priority signing because their purse was larger than other franchises. The Australian all-rounder previously played for Royal Challengers Bengaluru and won the WPL title in 2024.
UP Warriorz also signed Grace Harris for Rs 30 lakh. Harris represented the franchise across the 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons. David said the team discussed its recruitment plans extensively before the auction and had strengthened its middle order and death-over options.
