India win second ODI by four runs under DLS method
India secured a four-run DLS victory in the second ODI after rain interrupted play with the hosts needing 118 to win.
India won the second ODI against New Zealand by four runs under the Duckworth-Lewis-Stern method. Daryl Mitchell scored 55 runs for New Zealand while Gurnoor Brar took four wickets for India.
India reached 113 for seven in 26 overs before rain halted play in Auckland. Shreyas Iyer top-scored with 30 runs for India while Kyle Jamieson took three wickets for New Zealand.
Shubman Gill said the target looked easy at one stage but wickets kept falling during the chase. Gill added that the team bowled well to restrict New Zealand to around 130-140 runs in their innings.

Gill's admission that the target seemed chaseable until wickets fell points to a recurring middle-order fragility that DLS margins can mask but won't solve in longer series.
