PCB investigates Imam-ul-Haq calf injury claims
PCB probes Imam-ul-Haq injury after questions over his omission at Lord's.
The PCB has launched an inquiry into opener Imam-ul-Haq's calf injury that ruled him out of batting during the second Test at Lord's. Reports indicate the board is examining whether the injury was accurately represented.
Imam sustained a low-grade tear during the match but did not bat in either innings as Pakistan lost by 194 runs. He was subsequently sent home from the tour.
The investigation follows questions from selector Aaqib Javed about how the injury was managed. Imam-ul-Haq has appeared in 31 Tests, 75 ODIs and two T20Is since his debut in 2017.

The inquiry places additional strain on an already fractured selection panel and risks further public division if the board's findings contradict the medical reports submitted during the tour.
