New Zealand pace bowlers Lockie Ferguson and Matt Henry have been ruled out of the remaining two T20Is against India. The pair sustained injuries during the first three matches of the five-match series.

India have already secured the series with a 3-0 lead after winning the opening three matches. The fourth T20I at Eden Park on Thursday saw New Zealand post 259 for seven, their highest total against India.

Glenn Phillips scored 107 off 49 balls for New Zealand while Mayank Yadav took three wickets for India. The tourists need 127 runs from 30 balls with two wickets in hand at the latest update.

CricHubb Take

The double injury forces New Zealand to blood untested options in a dead rubber. That gives India a rare chance to assess fringe players under pressure without the series result hanging on every over.
