Yorkshire sign England seamer Em Arlott
Yorkshire recruit England seamer Em Arlott on a three-year deal from Warwickshire.
Yorkshire have signed England seamer Em Arlott from Warwickshire on a three-year contract that starts in 2027. The 10-cap bowler joins England teammates Lauren Winfield-Hill and Jess Jonassen at Headingley. Warwickshire confirmed the move on Friday.
Arlott took 18 wickets at 22.4 in last season's Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy. Yorkshire finished bottom of the County Championship and have chased experienced seam options to rebuild their attack, signing off-spinner Chloe Brewer earlier this month as well.
Warwickshire director of cricket Paul Farbrace said her departure leaves a gap in their stocks. Arlott said she's excited to join a side that reached the Charlotte Edwards Cup final last year.

Arlott's departure leaves Warwickshire short of proven seam options heading into a summer when they'll need to replace her wickets, while Yorkshire's quick move for a 10-cap bowler suggests they're prioritizing early rebuilding over waiting for the next window.
