India add four spinners as net bowlers for Sri Lanka Tests

India add four spinners to net-bowling resources ahead of Sri Lanka Tests.

CricHubb2h ago

Harsh Dubey, Shivang Kumar, Tanush Kotian and Vipraj Nigam joined India as net bowlers ahead of the two-Test series in Sri Lanka. The squad arrived in Colombo and starts a four-day practice match on August 7.

Jasprit Bumrah is still out after failing to recover from his knee injury, so Auqib Nabi stepped in. Sai Sudharsan continues his rehab and needs fitness clearance before he's considered.

The first Test is at Galle on August 15.

CricHubb Take

Bumrah's absence means the pace attack will be short even if he returns mid-series, so these extra spinners will have to shoulder more than just net duties once the Tests begin.
