BCCI president Mithun Manhas said Pakistan do not offer much competition anymore after India's 19-run win in the Asian Games cricket final on October 3. He praised the Indian team's composure under pressure in the gold-medal match at Korakuen Stadium.

Manhas also said the Indian team was by far the best at the tournament and described their performance as commendable. He highlighted contributions from Tilak Varma and Abhishek Sharma in the 211 for six total.

Pakistan replied with 192 for six, Hasan Nawaz making 96. The win extended India's streak of consecutive T20I victories over Pakistan to seven since the 2024 T20 World Cup.

Manhas's comment lands just as India prepare to face Pakistan again in the T20 World Cup. If the rivalry is truly lopsided now, the next bilateral series carries less weight — and broadcasters know it.
