Auqib Nabi has signed a County Championship contract with Surrey after India's two-Test series in Sri Lanka. The 25-year-old all-rounder, who made his India debut during those matches, will head to the Oval for the English county season.
Surrey announced the deal on Tuesday once the BCCI cleared it. Nabi's recent performances in the longer format convinced the county to bring him in, and the agreement keeps him available for India duty.
He's expected to feature in Surrey's opening fixtures of the Championship.
