Sydney Thunder have signed 22-year-old Claire Moore for WBBL 12. Moore, born in Western Sydney, previously played for the Thunder in WBBL 09 and made her WBBL debut at age 17 while representing Sydney Sixers in WBBL 07. She returns to the club where she began her professional career. Thunder's 15-player squad includes 14 other listed players. The team's campaign begins on 29 October in Melbourne, with their first home match scheduled for 1 November against Brisbane Heat. Thunder coach Trent Copeland said Moore adds depth with both bat and ball.

CricHubb Take

Moore's return to Thunder completes a full circle from her debut season and shows how early exposure in professional leagues can lead to sustained opportunities even after time away. Her dual skills with bat and ball give the squad flexibility in a shortened competition format.
