'That's all for show' — Stuart Broad on Imam-ul-Haq injury display

Stuart Broad accused Imam-ul-Haq of putting on an act after the Pakistan opener's calf injury at Lord's.

Former England fast bowler Stuart Broad criticised Imam-ul-Haq's injury display during Pakistan's second Test against England at Lord's. Imam-ul-Haq left the field with a calf strain on day one and did not bat in either innings.

Broad said the Pakistan opener appeared to be putting on an act after leaving the field. The comments come as the PCB investigates the circumstances of the injury withdrawal.

Imam-ul-Haq had already faced scrutiny over a similar incident in 2025 when reports claimed the PCB considered banning him after finding he faked an injury.

CricHubb Take

Broad's public intervention turns a private medical assessment into a public character question that could affect how future injury claims by Pakistan players are received.
