Mumbai Indians appoint new coaching staff for IPL 2027

Mumbai Indians have named Robin Uthappa as batting coach, Mitchell McClenaghan as bowling coach, T Dilip as fielding coach and Dhawal Kulkarni as development bowling coach ahead of IPL 2027. Lasith Malinga, Paras Mhambrey and Carl Hopkinson have left their roles.

Uthappa said the team must earn back the trust of MI fans and wants opponents to fear them at every venue. T Dilip aims to build a culture of trust, teamwork and accountability in the fielding unit.

A final call on Rohit Sharma's captaincy will wait until the Hardik Pandya trade talks are settled.
