Jeet Raval has announced his retirement from professional cricket, closing a chapter that spanned more than a decade at the highest levels of the domestic game. The former New Zealand Test opener leaves behind a record of more than 10,000 first-class runs, national titles across every format and 24 Test appearances for his country.
Raval scored 10,432 runs in 164 first-class matches, including 24 centuries and 50 half-centuries. He reached the 10,000-run milestone in December 2025 while captaining Northern Districts against Auckland. Born in Ahmedabad, Raval moved to New Zealand with his family to pursue his cricket dreams. He represented Auckland, Central Districts and Northern Districts during his career.
