Bharat Arun rejects toothless label for Indian bowlers

Arun defended the Indian bowling unit's ability ahead of the New Zealand tour.

Former India bowling coach Bharat Arun rejected claims that the current Indian bowling unit is toothless ahead of the tour of New Zealand. Arun pointed out that the bowlers successfully defended a modest total in the third T20I against West Indies on a flat pitch with short boundaries. He said it is unfair to label the attack toothless when one batter can change the outcome in T20 cricket.

CricHubb Take

Arun's defence of the bowling unit comes at a time when India is preparing for a challenging tour without their most experienced bowler. His emphasis on allowing bowlers to fail and reinvent themselves suggests the team management sees the upcoming series as preparation rather than a final judgement on the current group.
